IT'S CM PETERS!
Hi there! Marie here - For the next week, I'm going to feature one of the lovely author ladies who worked on MELT each day - building up to the Black Friday release of our collection. :)
First up: CM Peters, author of BODY HEAT.
CM Peters is a professional in her thirties. Her main mode of sustenance is in the communications field but her true passion is writing. She hails from Québec, is of French & Scottish descent...so makes you wonder about her temper! An eclectic writer, CM is equally at home penning short erotica, quality fanfiction, and elaborate sci-fi and fantasy novels. Whatever genre she is working in, CM always centers her stories around complex, relatable characters. She's hard at work on the sequel to her first novel, Bound Fate. If she's not furiously typing, you'll surely find her cooking or baking up a storm in her kitchen while dancing away to her favorite 70s and 80s classics.
ABOUT BODY HEAT
Whether it's in the green valleys of Ireland or the cool land of Maine, love can bloom and wither as fast as a snowflake. Is it a good omen when two lonely hearts meet on a stormy night? Can they make it through when everything pulls them apart?
"Body Heat" began over two years ago, as a fanfiction that didn't stay as such for long. I felt there was something more to it so took it down with hopes of finding a niche for it. So when Marie brought on the idea of "Melt", I knew I'd found it! The green valleys of Ireland and the snowy seaside of Maine had to be read about!
I wrote "Body Heat" while repeatedly watching PS. I love you so The Galway Girl is a song that will always remind me of this story, especially thinking of Gerard Butler singing it!
I'm very happy that the proceeds are going to mental health. I'm one of those people that always thought I'd never have such issues, seeing there was none in my family. I was fine until I wasn't. I'm dealing on a regular basis with anxiety/panic issues and have been since I was a child. I didn't know I'd been anxious all my life until I finally took the steps to get help. I'm much better now but anxiety never fully goes away. I'll simply add that you should never be afraid to reach out to get help. There will always be someone to listen to you.
MELT is a collection of five sexy stories to get snowed in with.
All proceeds from the collection will go to charities that support mental health research & aide.
